The German School of Saint Charles Borromeo in Cairo is one of the oldest acknowledged German schools outside Germany.
The German School of the Borromean Women in Cairo is a German-Egyptian meeting school for girls. In 1904, the sisters of the Order of Saint Charles Borromeo founded our school and have been running it to this day. With kindergarten, preschool, elementary school and eight-year high school, we offer a continuous educational concept that leads to the Abitur and includes the Egyptian school leaving certificate, the Thanaweya.
