Hobby came into being in 2003 as an Enthusiastic project, Founded by the owners: HISHAM BEKDASH & MOHAMEDTAREK BAHRI.
By now the company holds several Hobby flagship stores in Cairo, with more to open in the near future, and distributes socks and underwear in numerous retail stores in Egypt.
HOBBY Socks & Underwear have made their way over the Middle East, with franchises in Kuwait, in Riyadh (KSA), Amman (Jordan), Tripoli (Libya) and Sanaa (Yemen).

From the first, it was the founders’ objective to change the image of socks in Egypt and make an impact on the market by providing soft, durable and fashionable socks. HOBBY socks are made in Egypt and from best Egyptian cotton, and prodl, Iced on Italian machines. The brand’s quality and competitive pricing targets discerning customers .
After three years of establishing HOBBY socks on the domestic market and slowly overtaking competitors, in 2006 the company began producing underwear, being the first to produce women’s bodies in a cotton- lycra mix pleasant on the skin and comfortable to wear.
